St. Martins Village

Our baby home is situated at the St Martin’s Village Farm House and is run by Ouma Riekie. Ouma Riekie is the temporary safe care parent for all the babies and children who come through our doors. As a village, we help to see to Ouma Riekie’s needs so that the children receive all the love, care, nurturing, and Christian teachings that will help them to heal and then prosper with a way forward.

These children are either reunified with biological parents/grandparents or are placed with families for long term foster care or adoption. Where we can, we try to remain active in the lives of the little ones who have crossed our paths, and we continue to offer support. This ideology is what birthed our St Martin’s Village Foster Care Support group.

This group meets throughout the year to discuss topics of foster care and adoption, helping to build a strong foundation for blended families and vulnerable children. The group is also focused on growing the foster care and adoption community with the hope that every child can grow in a safe, wholesome family environment.

If you are a foster/adoptive parent or would like to know how to become one, please contact Amie on 072 089 6413 to be added to the WhatsApp group for event updates and general support/discussions.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” – Deuteronomy 6:5–9

Building Project

Our church has grown significantly over the years, and with that growth comes a new opportunity: to build a new church building. This is an exciting and humbling project. Who can say they’ve had the privilege of building a church in their lifetime? What we do now will serve not only us, but generations to come.

Farming God's Way

Farming God’s Way is not an organisation, but rather a tool or resource, freely available for individuals, NGO’s, mission’s or churches to be able to use to make a difference in the lives of the communities they have influence into.
