The mission field doesn’t stop at the border. The Mission of Lutheran Churches (MLC) actively supports and partners with Lutheran congregations in Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini, and historically, Botswana. In each of these countries, the focus is the same: proclaiming Christ crucified and risen, supporting faithful teaching, and training local leaders to shepherd their communities.
Through regional workshops, seminary pathways, and long-term collaboration with local church bodies, the MLC works across languages and cultures — always grounded in the Lutheran Confessions and the authority of God’s Word. Whether it’s a training lodge on the banks of the Zambezi or a youth service in Blantyre, the work remains the same: Christ preached, churches supported, and mercy shared.
