The Mission of Lutheran Churches exists to preach Christ, support congregations, and equip leaders for faithful service. Rooted in God’s Word and the Lutheran Confessions, our work brings the Gospel to life through teaching, worship, and mercy in Southern Africa and beyond.
We prepare men for pastoral ministry through seminary education, mentorship, and faithful training grounded in Scripture and Lutheran Confessions.
We help establish and support congregations across Southern Africa through worship, outreach, catechesis, and committed pastoral presence.
Through preschool support, food relief, and pastoral care, we serve real needs with love that flows from Christ’s mercy and compassion.
The mission grows when faithful people pray, give and walk with us. Whether you’re a pastor, partner, supporter or seeker — there’s a place for you here.
Every church planted, every child taught, every sermon preached — it’s all about bringing Christ to those who need Him most. Through Word, Sacrament, and mercy, the Gospel continues to change hearts and build communities. And that’s work worth supporting.
